Health Screening Questions for Parents
Health Screening Questions for Parents (Español)
Dear families –
Boyer has been delivering care virtually since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020. During this time, we have been closely following guidance from government officials, Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and King County COVID positivity rates. Based on recommendations and direction from these resources, in 2021 we began seeing children in person for 1:1 sessions. We are very excited to now resume a few in person parent-child playgroups at our Montlake and Magnuson sites starting on May 9, 2022.
Transmission of new cases & hospitalizations in King Co. will be continuously monitored with the understanding that in-person services are subject to changes as indicated by communicable disease threats. While we are extremely excited to welcome families back to Boyer, we recognize that everyone has their own unique set of circumstances, considerations, and comfort levels around returning to in-person services. Participation will be optional for both families and staff.
Please reach out to members of your service team if you are interested in requesting in-person services. For the health and safety of our entire community, all Boyer staff members who are working onsite or who have direct contact with families are required to be fully vaccinated. In order to plan how to best provide in person services, a member of your child’s care team will be asking about the vaccination status of the adult(s) accompanying your child to the session. If this adult is not vaccinated, in-person service will occur in your home, daycare or other community setting.
All the best,
Michael Stewart
