At Boyer, we’re here for you.

Dear families,

I hope this finds you safe and healthy, and managing as well as possible during these unprecedented times.

As a valued members of our Boyer community, I wanted to provide you with a brief agency update during this COVID-19 crisis. We have been working tirelessly to ensure that your child and family continue to receive the care and support you need, without interruption, and have swiftly pivoted our care delivery model to “virtual visits” for all program areas – therapy, education, medical and family support. We are also working hard to find additional ways to support our families in crisis, and remain committed to our mission of serving all families who need us, regardless of financial circumstances.

To that end, I want to share a video that provides some information about the value of “virtual visits,” as well as tips on how to schedule your child’s next session via Zoom.

I am also pleased to share that Governor Jay Inslee signed a proclamation that provides payment parity between health care services provided in-person and those provided through telemedicine (aka virtual visits, tele-health, tele-intervention), effective immediately. You can read his full proclamation here: For Boyer families, this means that telemedicine/virtual visit claims must now be reimbursed at the same rate as care delivered face-to-face, and telemedicine/virtual visit claims cannot be denied by health insurance companies.

Thank you for your continued trust in us; it is an honor to care for your child. If you have any questions about scheduling a virtual visit, please contact your care team at any time. We are here to help.
