Welcoming Boyer’s New CEO

Dear Boyer Community,

We are thrilled to share exciting news: following a comprehensive nationwide search, the Board of Directors has selected Dr. Megan Beers, Boyer’s Chief Program Officer, as our new Chief Executive Officer. Megan’s first day in her new role will be Monday, August 17th.

Following Mike Stewart’s departure after 28 years with Boyer Children’s Clinic, including 16 years as Executive Director, the Board set out to find a leader who could build on Boyer’s 80+ legacy of excellence while guiding the organization into its next chapter.

This decision was made thoughtfully and inclusively, drawing on many perspectives across our organization. In addition to the full Board, Boyer’s Senior Leadership Team and Department Heads took part in the interviews, ensuring that staff had a voice in shaping this important decision.

Boyer’s Chief Program Officer, Dr. Megan Beers, emerged as the top choice from a highly-competitive pool of applicants. She joined Boyer in May 2025, bringing more than 17 years of leadership experience across early childhood systems of care. A licensed clinical psychologist by training, she has a proven track record of driving organizational transformation and building trauma-informed, equity-centered frameworks that support young children and families. Prior to joining Boyer, Megan held executive leadership roles at organizations including Childhaven and Wellspring Family Services, and served as a Senior Consultant at Health Management Associates.

Since arriving at Boyer, Megan’s thoughtful and strategic leadership has made a tremendous impact on our programs and partnerships. The Board is confident she is the right person to lead Boyer into its next chapter, building on the strong foundation established over Boyer’s 80+ year history.

I am deeply honored to step into this role at such a meaningful moment for Boyer. I am grateful for the belief, vision and generosity of all who make our work possible, and I look forward to partnering with you as we continue expanding our life-changing impact in the years ahead.

Boyer has spent nearly 85 years earning the trust of this community, and I don’t take that legacy lightly. My commitment is to honor the high-quality, personalized, compassionate care that has always defined Boyer, while continuing to innovate so that we can meet the needs of even more families in the future. I’m excited to write this next chapter together, alongside a community that has given so much to make Boyer what it is today.
