Zoe’s Story
fter our first child, Zoe, was discharged from the NICU after two weeks, the last things we were thinking about were motor skills or milestones. We were in survival mode, and most worried about her ability to breathe well.
After our pediatrician referred us to Boyer, and Zoe had our initial consultation, we realized there was a lot more to consider for Zoe than her respiratory health. Zoe started having weekly feeding therapy and physical therapy sessions at our home. These sessions proved to be invaluable to Zoe’s development from her starting to roll and taking a bottle, until her last session where she was throwing balls while balancing and baking cookies.
Zoe would always look forward to her visits with Boyer, and we cannot imagine her first years without the support and dedication of the Boyer Clinic staff!”
