Brave and Strong: Eesa Update

We received this wonderful update on Eesa, a Boyer alumni whose family was featured in our 2019 Auction Video, and we are so thrilled to share it with our community! These words of gratitude and joy fill our hearts, and are an important testament to the long-lasting, critical impact Boyer makes on the families we serve.

“I wanted to give you a little update on Eesa. Eesa is in grade two at our local elementary school, he attended a developmental preschool but graduated from there for kindergarten. He still gets therapies like speech, PT, and OT, and HE. IS. THRIVING. He tells funny jokes, loves reading and is a human calculator! He attends Taekwondo, Kumon and gymnastics. He has friends and loves playing video games with his little brother and Dad.

We are still connected with Boyer and I credit a lot of his development to this day to the Boyer team that helped him in his early years. You all believed in my boy when I didn’t know what to think. You knew he would walk and talk and eat independently even when I was not so sure. He beat the odds because he had an entire team of specialists that saw his potential and saw him for his personality and as more than his exceptionalities.

I still attend monthly Mom’s nights and look forward to being surrounded by people who ‘get it’ without judgement. It is a blessing and a comfort. Thank you for all you do, Boyer!

To any families seeking services, I cannot recommend Boyer enough. They saved us when we were drowning. They loved us from day one. Forever grateful for all of you!!!”
