Every child deserves a strong start — no matter where their family is sleeping tonight.

Boyer CONNECT is a specialized program that brings Boyer Children’s Clinic’s expertise directly to families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Through partnerships with Mary’s Place, Broadview, Solid Ground, and the YWCA, we meet families where they are, offering early childhood evaluations, developmental support, and a warm, consistent connection to services that can change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Who We Serve
The families in Boyer CONNECT are navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances. Some are fleeing domestic violence; many are facing deep-rooted systemic barriers; others are parenting with disabilities of their own. We designed this program with all of them in mind: removing barriers, building trust, and ensuring that every child age birth to three has access to the early support they need during the years that matter most.

How It Works
A dedicated Boyer CONNECT team — built on multiple years of collaboration and expertise — provides intakes and ongoing services to families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. That consistency isn’t incidental, it’s intentional: for families in transition, a familiar face and a reliable point of contact can make all the difference.

Just as important are the relationships Boyer staff have built with partner agencies including Mary’s Place, Solid Ground, YWCA, and Public Health programs. Through monthly consultations and ongoing communication, these connections ensure that every family receives the coordinated, personalized support they need and deserve.

For children who qualify, we connect families to Early Support for Infants & Toddlers (ESIT) services, help navigate the transition to preschool at age three, and link older children to Boyer’s Bridge program or resources through their school district.

Why It Matters
The first three years of a child’s life are the most critical for brain development. Housing instability should never stand between a child and the support they need to thrive. Boyer CONNECT exists to make sure it doesn’t.
