Join us on Saturday, November 5th at 6:00pm for the 2016 Inspiring Journeys Auction Gala , a special evening in which nearly 400 guests will gather to celebrate 74 years of hope, compassion and solutions for children with disabilities and developmental delays. This very special event is the largest annual fundraiser benefiting Boyer Children's Clinic and the 800 children and families Boyer serves each year.

We are proud to have Jacob & Catherine Burns and Charles & Jennifer Di Bona as our 2016 Auction Co Chairs. The Di Bonas are a Boyer Alumni family, and both Jacob and Charles serve on the Board of Directors. We appreciate their longtime leadership and support of our organization!


2016 North Star Award Recipient

North Star Award recognizes a special individual, family or corporation for their outstanding leadership, community advocacy and sustaining support of Boyer Children’s Clinic. The honoree is selected for their commitment to our organization, which not only serves as inspiration to today's Boyer community, but also creates a legacy of nurturing the lives of children with special needs and their families in the decades ahead.

We are proud to honor Social Venture Partners (SVP) with the 2016 North Star Award. SVP is a unique organization that supports nonprofits and philanthropists, both locally and globally. They seek to make an impact in three distinct ways: connect and engage individuals to help them make the greatest impact with their time and philanthropy; fund and strengthen nonprofits to help them reach the next level; and, invest in collaborative solutions to help align organizations to amplify their impact. SVPs goal is to create a community in which, regardless of income or race, all children receive an excellent education and all people live and work in a healthy environment.

Social Ventures Partner was selected as this year’s North Star recipient because their incredible investment – through funding, collaboration and connections – has allowed Boyer to build a community committed to promoting inclusion and equitable access for all families who need our care. In addition, our new site in Magnuson Park will be opening this summer, and considering SVP’s tremendous investment in Boyer’s capacity-building efforts, we are very proud to recognize this wonderful organization in conjunction with such an important milestone in Boyer's history.


Event Proceeds

Proceeds from this year’s Inspiring Journeys Gala will support enhanced access for our community to the life-changing programs and services provided by Boyer Children's Clinic. Boyer has been a resource for children with special needs and their families for nearly 75 years, but we have been operating at capacity for quite some time. With the opening of our new Magnuson Park satellite clinic, we are able to offer easier access to the high-volume of North Seattle families, as well as free up space to provide additional access at our original Montlake location for South Seattle families, particularly from underserved communities. We believe that every child has the right to live the healthiest and happiest life possible, and your investment tonight will bring us closer to achieving our dream of serving every family who needs our care.
