This year’s Inspiring Journeys Gala Auction brought together over 400 community members together at Fremont Studios to celebrate and raise funds to benefit the children and families that Boyer proudly serves. This annual event, now in its 13th year, included a festive cocktail hour with games and two silent auctions, an incredible dinner catered by Kaspar’s, unique live auction packages, and a fun dance-party and DJ to conclude the evening. A record-breaking $590,000 was raised, which will be used to enhance access for all families in our community, helping to eliminate barriers that might otherwise prevent them from receiving Boyer’s life-changing therapies and services.
During the evening, Social Venture Partners (SVP) was presented with the 2016 North Star Award. This special honor recognizes an individual, family, philanthropic organization or corporation for their outstanding leadership, community advocacy and sustaining support of Boyer Children’s Clinic. SVP was selected as this year’s North Star recipient because their incredible investment – through funding, collaboration and connections – has allowed Boyer to build a community committed to promoting inclusion and equitable access for all families who need care.
