Summer Events Recap!

ummer 2018 was one for the books! We kicked off the season by collaborating with Woodland Park Zoo for their first “Zoo for All” event on July 5th. The Zoo celebrated their commitment to inclusion by hosting the event for individuals of all abilities. We feel so fortunate to have helped with the creation of this special day, and look forward to more opportunities to partner with the Zoo in the future!

On Sunday, July 15th, we were honored to participate in a special concert event with the Lowlands and March to May. This show was uniquely special because Lowlands lead singer, Tom Rorem, is a current Boyer parent. In gratitude for the care his family received, both bands dedicated all proceeds from the live recording of the show to Boyer. Many of our families, staff and Board members joined us for this wonderful evening. If you were not able to make it, you can purchase the live album on their website.

The Boyer Summer Family Reunion was held on July 23rd at Arena Sports’ Inflatable FunZone. The event was a hit, with about 60 people in attendance! Boyer staff loved talking with and seeing the current and alumni families enjoying their time in the FunZone. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to help make this event so successful!

Lastly, throughout the summer, children hosted their own Lemonade Stands in support of Boyer! Not only is it a fun activity for kids, but also a great way to teach them about the impact of philanthropy. Our families raised more than $650 for Boyer programs and services, and we are so grateful for your support!
