Join us for the 14th Annual Inspiring Journeys Auction Gala, Presented by Premera Blue Cross!

Join us at Fremont Studios on Saturday, November 4th at 6:00pm for the 2017 Inspiring Journeys Auction Gala, a special evening in which nearly 400 guests will gather to celebrate 75 years of hope, compassion and solutions for children with disabilities and developmental delays. This very special event is the largest annual fundraiser benefiting Boyer Children's Clinic and the 900 children and families Boyer serves each year.

Auction Co-Chairs

We are proud to have John & Vicki Pierce and Heidi & Jim Westling as our 2017 Auction Co-Chairs. The Pierces are a Boyer Alumni family, and John served on the Board of Directors, including president, for a number of years. The Westlings have been longtime supporters of Boyer, and Heidi recently celebrated her 20th anniversary of Board service. We appreciate their longtime leadership and support of our organization!

2017 North Star Award Recipient

North Star Award recognizes a special individual, family or corporation for their outstanding leadership, community advocacy and sustaining support of Boyer Children’s Clinic. The honoree is selected for their commitment to our organization, which not only serves as inspiration to today's Boyer community, but also creates a legacy of nurturing the lives of children with special needs and their families in the decades ahead.

Boyer Children’s Clinic is proud to have Sherman Alexie, award-winning poet, writer, and filmmaker, and his wife, Diane Tomhave, as this year’s North Star awardees. In addition to his many professional accomplishments and their history of leadership in the community, Sherman and Diane are also longtime members of the Boyer community. Their son, Joseph, received early intervention services when he was just two years old.

“When we needed additional support for our son, Boyer was always there for us,” Sherman shares. “We know firsthand the impact that early intervention can have on a child and on a family, and we are honored to be this year’s North Star Award recipients.”

Event Proceeds

All proceeds from this special evening will be devoted to Boyer’s Family Support Services Program.

While Boyer has been the leading provider of early intervention services for children for the past 75 years, our offerings that focus on the emotional needs of parents, siblings, and other caregivers are equally critical to the health and well-being of the families we support.

Our Family Support Services Program encompasses everything from couples and sibling support groups, to providing interpreters and transportation to families at no cost, to accessibility and inclusion work in the broader community. It is an essential part of Boyer’s commitment to give every child – and family – the best chance for the brightest future possible.

Our team of highly specialized providers offer the resources, expertise and guidance to help families navigate the complex and often overwhelming worlds of health care, insurance, and government requirements. Every family wants the best for their child, and at Boyer, we walk the journey with you.

We believe that every family should receive the tools and support they need to become their child’s best advocate, and your investment tonight will bring us closer to achieving that goal.
